Dr. Vasiliki Danilatou
Dr. Vasiliki Kamposou is an Internal Medicine Resident at the General Oncology Hospital of Athens “Agioi Anargyroi,” with a growing clinical focus on Hematology and Oncology. She earned her medical degree with honors from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2016–2022), including an Erasmus+ exchange at Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg, where she also participated in COVID-19 research. Her clinical experience spans diverse specialties and healthcare settings, including Emergency Medicine, ENT, and Rural Medicine, providing her with a broad and versatile foundation in patient care. She has also completed multiple certified courses in trauma, life support, and clinical skills.
Research and academic engagement are central to her career. She co-authored a peer-reviewed publication in Antibiotics (MDPI) on antimicrobial prophylaxis in pediatric surgery and has presented at national conferences on topics such as resistant hypertension and chelation therapy in thalassemia. Deeply committed to service, she has volunteered in remote Greek islands through the SSHMS “Medical Landing” program and mobile missions supported by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, offering care to underserved communities. Fluent in Greek, English (C2), and German (B2), her long-term goal is to specialize in Hematology and Oncology, contributing to advancements in patient care, research, and international
collaboration.
