Dr. Aditi Khandelwal

Dr. Aditi Khandelwal (she/her) is a Medical Officer at Canadian Blood Services and a Hematologist and Transfusion Specialist at St. Michael’s Hospital, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Center, and  the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. She earned her Bachelor of Science (Honors Biology) from McMaster University, her medical degree from McGill University, and completed postgraduate  training in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Transfusion Medicine at the University of Toronto, where she also obtained a Master of Science in Systems Leadership and  Innovation.

A dedicated clinician and educator, Dr. Khandelwal is deeply committed to advancing equitable access to safe blood and improving transfusion practices. She embodies the full spectrum of engagement in blood health as a stem cell registrant, blood donor, prescriber, and passionate advocate for improving blood use and medical educator.
