Dr Yap is a Clinical Haematologist who has been working in the Department of Haematology at Ampang Hospital the National Referral Centre for Haematology. She had done a fellowship in Haemostasis and Thrombosis in Australia. She recently acquired her FRCPath qualification from London UK.
She has wide experience conducting Patient Blood Management Workshop as well as implementing PBM in clinical practice under the guidance of Dr. Jameela Sathar. She is the president of the Malaysian Society of Patient Blood Management.
