Dr Kibet Shikuku is a Medical Specialist, General Pathologist with subspecialty in Haematology and Laboratory Management at the University of Nairobi, he attended a Fellowship at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital.
He is Currently an Ag. Chief Executive Officer at the National Spinal Injury Referral Hospital; a Deputy Medial Director at The Nairobi West Hospital; Board member at Global Action Network for Sickle Cell & Other Inherited Blood Disorders (GANSID); Board member at Hope for Cancer Kids; a Lecturer at the University of Nairobi, Department of Human Pathology, Haematology and Blood Transfusion thematic unit. He is also a Consultant haematologist at Kenyatta National Hospital; Technical Advisor for Laboratory Systems Strengthening for Centre of Excellence in HIV Management (CoEHM) and Central Province Response Integration Strengthening and Sustainability Project (CRISSP); Chairperson, Board of Directors of the Kenya Haemophilia Association. Co- chair Ministry Of Health Non-Communicable Disease (NCDs) Technical Working Group that guides national management of haematological disorders and a member of the national HIV Technical Working Group.
