Dr. Neelesh Jain is a physician specializing in Clinical Haematology, Bone Marrow Transplantation, and Transfusion Medicine, with a special interest in haemoglobinopathies, particularly Sickle Cell Disease and Thalassemia. He completed his MBBS from MGM Medical College, Indore, followed by an MD in Transfusion Medicine from the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune. He subsequently underwent advanced training in Clinical Haematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation at Apollo Gleneagles Hospital, Kolkata, with additional specialized training at Tata Medical Centre, Kolkata.
His clinical expertise includes the management of benign haematological disorders, coagulation disorders, and patients undergoing haematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
Dr. Jain has a particular clinical and academic interest in Sickle Cell Disease, Thalassemia, and other inherited red cell disorders, including comprehensive transfusion support and therapeutic apheresis. In 2026, he was awarded the prestigious American Society of Hematology (ASH) Visiting Trainee Program (VTP) Fellowship, through which he received focused training in Sickle Cell Disease management under the mentorship of Prof. Dipti Jain. His broader expertise includes haematopoietic stem cell collection, cellular therapies, and transplant support.
