Dr. Sandra Newton
Dr. Sandra Newton is a Clinical and School Psychologist living and working in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario, Canada and has practiced in a variety of educational, clinical, and community settings. Dr. Newton supports the MPH in Black Health graduate program at the University of Toronto as Interim Director and program faculty.
In her work with the Sickle Cell Awareness Group of Ontario (SCAGO) as Psychosocial Program Lead, and as a member of the Global Action Network for Sickle Cell & Other Inherited Blood Disorders (GANSID) board, Dr. Newton can pursue longstanding interests in providing advocacy, education, and support for children, youth, and adults with sickle cell disease.
