Ms. Andrea H. Trinidad
Andrea H. Trinidad is the President of Hemophilia Advocates-Philippines (HAP) and a passionate voice for people with rare bleeding disorders. She lives with von Willebrand disease and Hemophilia A, and her own experience has shaped her deep commitment to patient rights and access to care in the Philippines. Andrea began her career as a journalist, covering national news for the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
Today, she serves as an editor for International Business Times UK, where she continues to tell stories that matter on a global scale. Alongside her journalism work, she is also a communications strategist, helping organizations craft campaigns that inform, inspire, and drive change. An unexpected chapter in her life led her to Palawan—one of the world’s most beautiful islands—where she now runs a small bed and breakfast. What started as a passion project has grown into a space that welcomes guests from around the world with warmth and heart. Balancing advocacy, media, and entrepreneurship, Andrea brings people together through stories, strategy, and sincere connection—whether in the halls of policy, across digital platforms, or over coffee on a quiet island morning.
