
Dr. Shipra Kaicker
Dr. Shipra Kaicker is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine and an Associate Attending Pediatrician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. She specializes in pediatric hematology with expertise in platelet disorders, immune cytopenias, anemias, sickle cell disease, and bone marrow failure syndromes. Board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, Dr. Kaicker brings extensive experience in both clinical care and research.
She earned her M.B.B.S. from Lady Hardinge Medical College and her M.D. in Pediatrics from Maulana Azad Medical College, University of Delhi, where she also served as Senior Registrar (Chief Resident). She furthered her training in the United States through Pediatric Residency at Saint Vincent’s Medical Center and dual Post-Doctoral Clinical and Research Fellowships in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at Columbia University Medical Center.
Dr. Kaicker actively participates in clinical research focused on childhood immune and hematologic disorders. Her commitment to patient care has been recognized through multiple awards, including the “Beloved Doctor Award” from Maimonides Infants and Children’s Hospital (2015), “Top 10 Doctor” in the Metro Area and State (2014), and the “Patients’ Choice Award” (2012, 2013).
