Aditi Kamdar
Dr. Aditi Kamdar is a pediatric hematologist at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, TX, USA. She received her medical degree at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA in 2010. She completed training in general pediatrics at Texas Children’s Hospital in 2013 and worked in global health in Ethiopia prior to undergoing Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Following completion of her fellowship training in 2017, she joined the faculty at Stanford University School of Medicine and gained significant experience in sickle cell disease, bleeding disorders, and medical education. Dr. Kamdar continues work focused on the care of patients affected by these disorders now at Texas Children’s Hospital. She is also a passionate medical educator and is actively involved in the mentorship and bedside teaching of medical students, residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers. She lives with her husband, two school-aged children, and dog named Mira in Houston, TX.
