Dr. Jameela Sathar

Dr Jameela is a Consultant Haematologist and former Head of Department of Haematology at Ampang Hospital and National Head of Haematology Service, Malaysia, where she was responsible for the care of patients with thalassaemia, haemophilia, thrombosis, and bleeding disorders. She was instrumental in developing the national thalassaemia and haemophilia programs to improve the care of these patients. She co-founded the Malaysian Society of Patient Blood Management and is actively involved in promoting patient blood management programs to optimise patient outcomes.
