Throughout her career, she has led strategic alliances with patient communities across 15+ disease areas—leveraging her scientific background to employ data-driven approaches for systematic incorporation of the patient voice to shape more than 40 clinical development programs.
Most recently, Dr. Comenencia Ortiz served as the Global Hematology Patient Partnership Group Director at Roche, where she led global patient community engagement efforts for the Roche Hematology pipeline and marketed product portfolio. Dr. Comenencia Ortiz is passionate about health equity and community-based interventions to meet the needs of underserved populations.
