Expert in Health and Social Care with 25 years of experience heading various positions in the State Government and Government of India -Department of AIDS Control, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) or Ministry of Tribal Affairs. A Law Graduate with a Master’s in Social Science, Journalism, and Mass Communications, and an MBA in Hospital Management, she qualifies for expertise in Health Economics, Health Promotion, Maternal and Child Health, etc.
She learned French and German from IIT Kanpur. Her passion and dedication is to improve the Health of people by strengthening health systems – Haemoglobinopathies and hemophilia are key intervention initiated by her efforts. Tribal TB, a Joint action plan for malaria in Tribal areas, Action plan on snake bites are recent upcoming initiatives. She has participated in 22 guidelines of National and international standards. She has represented the country, presented papers on different forums, and received various awards at the State, National, and International levels.
