Dr yap yee yee is a clinical haematologist who is working in Ampang Hospital, Ministry of health Malaysia. She underwent internship in Kuala Lumpur Hospital and residency in Duchess of Kent Hospital. She subsequently obtained her MRCP(UK) from Glasgow, Scotland. She subspecialized in clinical haematology followed by her fellowship in Haemostasis & Thrombosis with Prof. Dr. Ross Baker in Perth Blood Institute Australia. She acquired her FRCPath(UK) in London, UK in year 2022 with attachment under Dr. Vishal Jayakar in Kingston Hospital and Prof. Dr. Mike Laffan in Hammersmith Hospital. She is also the president of Malaysian Society of Patient Blood Management. She has been practicing patient blood management for many years with Dr Jameela Sathar who is the pioneer of PBM of the country. She has vast experience in treating Thalassaemia patients as well as Haemophilia, Von-Willebrand Disease, other rare bleeding disorders and thrombosis disorders. She was also involved in a lot of clinical trials including haematology-oncology, haemoglobinopathy and haemophilia.
