Aniket Prabhudesai
Deputy Manager
Aniket Prabhudesai is a molecular biologist and biotechnology professional specializing in clinical diagnostics, PCR kit development, and molecular genetics. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Biology from ICMR-National Institute of Immunohaematology (now known as ICMR-NIRBID). Over his career, he has gained extensive expertise in assay development, laboratory management, and regulatory compliance.
Currently serving as Deputy Manager (Molecular Biology) at HiMedia Laboratories, he leads the development of clinical PCR kits in compliance with CDSCO regulatory requirements as well as ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 standards. He also oversees technical operations in Sanger sequencing services, where he is a NABL Authorized Signatory under ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Previously, as Senior Scientific Officer at Lilac Insights, he was a NABL Authorized Signatory under ISO 15189:2012 while managing high-throughput diagnostic reporting across onco and repro molecular genetics. His earlier experience includes research on bleeding and thrombotic disorders at ICMR-NIIH, alongside roles at Thyrocare Technologies and Glenmark Pharmaceuticals. He has also authored eight research publications alongside making active scientific contributions.
