Zakareya Al Kadhem is the chairman of the Bahrain Sickle Cell Society and the Amplify Sickle Cell Voices International -Australia.
He has an MBA (Economics) from the University of Glamorgan, Cardiff, UK. His projects include Sickle Cell Calories My Life, Pain Managements, Kindness (Give a Blood), Whisper of Hope (7 Seasons), etc. He is a board member of the Arab Hope Makers – Dubai UAE, Lead 9K Patients -Influencer, Arab World in Sickle Cell Disease.
He is the founder of the Blood Exchange Unit, SMC (Bahrain), and has also received a special honor in the name of His Majesty, the King of Bahrain for caring for people with special needs.
Mr. Al Kadhem understands the challenges faced by patients with sickle cell disease and will be joining a global panel to discuss challenges, gaps, and solutions to Hereditary Blood Disorders in the Middle East.
