The Global Action Network for Sickle Cell & Other Inherited Blood Disorders is an umbrella organization bringing together patient organizations, health care providers, health organizations, researchers, professional and academic societies, and industry partners that serve people impacted by sickle cell disease (SCD) and other inherited blood disorders.
The organization has one class of membership- primary membership which is open to disease-specific and cross-disease patient organizations that serve people impacted by sickle cell disease (SCD) and other inherited blood disorders.
Currently, the GANSID boasts of 70+ organizations serving inherited blood disorders communities across 30 countries.
