World Sickle Cell Day 2025

Theme: Transforming Care and Strengthening Communities

On June 19, 2025, the global sickle cell community will unite to commemorate World Sickle Cell Day, a time to acknowledge the ongoing challenges, celebrate the strength of individuals living with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD), and amplify the call for action.

This year, we are excited to launch the “Show Your C” campaign. This unifying gesture aims to: Raise awareness about the impact of SCD, Represent resilience and unity within the community, Mobilize support for advocacy, care, and visibility. We invite you to be part of this global movement by showing your “C,” sharing your stories, and engaging your networks both online and offline.
