
GANSID Member-Led Projects 2025 – Call for Proposals

Summary:
GANSID invites member organizations to submit project proposals that advance advocacy, education, capacity building, or community engagement within the inherited blood disorders (IBDs) community.
Selected projects will receive funding up to $5,000 to implement impactful initiatives focusing on a single disease (disease-specific) or cross-disease collaboration across different inherited blood disorders.
Acceptable Projects:
Disease-Specific Projects: Focused initiatives targeting one blood disorder (e.g., Sickle Cell Disease, Thalassemia Disorder, Bleeding Disorders, Aplastic Anemia, Fanconi Anemia, Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency Disorder ) across multiple regions in one or more countries
Cross-Disease Projects: Initiatives that bring together multiple blood disorders. An example of an acceptable project is multiple GANSID member organizations in a country working together to enact #WorldInheritedBloodDisordersAwareness Day with their government.
Who Can Apply: Registered GANSID member organizations.
Funding and Amount: Up to $5,000 per approved project.
Project Timeline: Projects must be completed within 6-9 months of receiving funding. A mid-project report must be provided halfway through the project, and a final report provided within 1 month of project completion.

- Provide a mid-project report and a final project report by the approved deadline.
