GANSID Annual Congress Host Bid Manual

We thank you for your interest in bidding to host GANSID’s International Congress. Please read “GANSID Annual Congress Host Bid Manual“ before completing the host bid form at the link below no later than September 30.

A GANSID member organization or affiliate may bid to host the international congress by September 30, of the year prior to their hosting year (e.g., bid  presented on September 30, 2025, for hosting the 2026 congress). Also note that the annual GANSID congress is typically held in early-mid-November, with care made to avoid conflict with other important hematology-related conferences or meetings.

Shortlisted organizations or institutions will be invited to present a short PowerPoint presentation highlighting the details found in this form. The hosting site  is expected to provide a congress strategic plan, including the congress budget, at least 12 months prior to the congress.

The Chief Executive Officer or the equivalent at the bidding organization/institution is expected to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with GANSID.
