Dr. Nor Nazahah Mahmud

Dr. Nor Nazahah has over 22 years of service with the Ministry of Health Malaysia, specializing in Transfusion Medicine with subspecialty training in the UK and Singapore in Transfusion and Transplantation. A senior Consultant in Transfusion Medicine Service, she currently holds the position of the Deputy Director II at Pusat Darah Negara and Deputy Head of Specialty for Transfusion Medicine Service in MOH. At the same time, she is also overseeing the management of the national immunohematology reference laboratory and rare blood group registry in the  National Blood Center.

She has led national initiatives as the project manager for the development of the Blood bank information system. Dr. Nazahah has shared her work at international forums, research, and publications, and remains committed to advancing transfusion medicine and strengthening Malaysia’s healthcare system.
